653 Canyon Hollow Lane | Helmville
Escape the hustle and reconnect with nature at this private end of the road 40-acre off-grid haven. Mature trees cover the land and wildlife is abundant thanks to a large bordering ranch. Sweeping southern and western views from the upper section perfect for sunsets and stargazing and another cabin or just a camping spot. The property has a 14x12 dry cabin and an additional 8x8 structure with a shower (no water connected). With no power and no well, this is true off-grid living—ideal for those seeking solitude, a weekend getaway, or a basecamp for hunting and other outdoor adventures. The topography is mostly sloped with an easy trail to the ridge, featuring scenic benches, unique rock outcroppings, and even a small cave. A nice opportunity to own raw, natural land with character, charm, and endless potential at an affordable price. MTR 30049882
Directions to property: Jens Exit 162 off of I-90. Start your trip odometer here, go north of the freeway. At 6 miles turn right around the lake and go ALL of the way around it and keep going up hill. At Mile 10.4(ish) there will be a "10" on a sign to the left, go Right at that intersection, "Limestone Canyon Loop" sign on a tree, go up through a few switchbacks. Keep going until you cross a spring/creek at a left turning corner and see the split rail fence just past it to the right, turn right at the driveway next to this fence, you will pass to the left of a log cabin. Almost there, the road narrows after the cabin, turns left, goes straight, then turns right and you're there. Around 12 miles total, up to an hour depending on weather, not hard to find. I can send you an OnX link.
